My baby is 2 years old!!

So we celebrated Jacob's birthday with some fun activities!!
First we went to the bouncy place for some morning fun!

 Here's Jacob being difficult.  My boys have a tendency to pout for the camera on their birthday so this is no surprise!

He's a monkey boy.

That evening we went to Friendly's for dinner.  That's the one place we don't mind our kids going crazy because usually there is another table much worse than ours!!!

The next day we went to Target for Jacob's birthday pictures.  Popcorn is my best bribe at that store.  Granted they spill it everywhere but it keeps them concentrated on something other than running around like crazy children.

On Saturday is when we had the real party.  We took the kids to the Kempton Train Station for a train ride.  Jacob loves trains along with cars and planes.

 

 This just made me laugh!

 

So this is just a story to prove how amazing my kid is!  We are probably ride the Kempton Train for Joshua's birthday too.  On his birthday they have a Santa train and he won't stop talking about it.  So just this week (a month after we went to the train) Joshua says that he wants to go to the train for his birthday and he specifically wants to see train #582.  He apparently has an amazing memory but at the same time forgets to flush the toilet when he's done.  Interesting!!

  That night we had some family and friends over for cake and ice cream.  When we started to sing "happy birthday" Jacob climbed out of the seat and started to cry.  He then continued to avoid looking at anyone and I had to pry him off of me to make him stand in his seat.  He got over it once people stopped singing and he got to eat!

 I know the lighting is awful but he really really liked his cake!

It was a good birthday overall.  I still can't believe I have a 2 and a 3 year old!!!  My baby is 2 :(  But oh how I love him :)
