Today was Joshua's 2 year appointment and Jacob's 2 month appointment. Thankfully David was able to make it after he rescheduled some customers around. Joshua did amazing. Last month he went in for a flu shot and wouldn't stand on the scale and gave David a hard time but today was completely different. He just walked right up there. And then in the office he just sat for the doctor. It was pretty amazing. Joshua was 31.4 pounds (80th percentile) and 36 inches tall (90th percentile). The doctor said that to figure out how tall kids will be as adults is by doubling their height at age two (David informed me that it is actually 2 1/2). So that means Joshua should be around 6 ft tall. Not surprised!
Jacob had to get his shots today. 3 shots and 1 oral medicine. He only cried for a little bit. I think he did better than Joshua did and so did I. I only got teary eyed. Jacob weighed 12 lbs 3 oz (60th percentile and a pound smaller than Joshua at 2 months) and 22 1/4 inches long (27th percentile and 1/4 inch longer than Joshua at 2 months).
My boys are growing up. Oh my!!!
